The nail care device on a warm stone surface

Questions, answered plainly.

Everything we get asked about the device, ordering, returns and the warranty. If yours is not here, one email gets you a real answer.

Product and use

What the device is, how a session runs, and what arrives in the box.

What exactly is this device?

It is a portable, at-home nail care device based on factory model HZJ-01. It is cordless, runs on a built-in rechargeable battery, and is used on the nail for a single timed session that ends on its own.

We describe it as a personal nail care device and nothing more. Nothing on this page is medical advice, and we make no claims about any health condition. If you have questions about your nails or your health, talk to a healthcare professional.

What are the 905nm laser and the 470nm blue light?

Those are the two light outputs the device produces while a session is running. Below are the manufacturer's published specifications for this model, exactly as supplied to us.

These are technical specifications only. We do not say what the light does, and you should not read them as a promise of any result.

How long is one session?

Seven minutes. The device shuts off automatically at the end of the session, so you do not have to watch a timer or switch it off yourself.

If it switches off sooner than you expected, check the instruction manual before starting another session.

How often should I use it, and on which nails?

Follow the routine in the instruction manual rather than guessing: once a day, until you see the result you are after. The manual that ships with the device is the authority and takes priority over any summary, including this one.

Use it on every nail you plan to include in your routine. The device clips onto one nail at a time and runs a seven-minute session, so allow one session per nail. There is no cap on how many nails you treat. The device can be used on fingernails and toenails alike.

What comes in the box?

Each order includes the laser device, its power adapter, and the instruction manual, in the retail box.

Keep the instruction manual after unboxing. It contains the full operating and safety instructions, and you will want it if you ever make a warranty claim.

Safety

The manual ships in the box and takes priority over anything written here.

What precautions should I follow?

Read the full instruction manual before the first use and follow it every time. The manual's core precautions are:

  • Never direct the laser at the eyes - yours or anyone else's.
  • Pregnant women should not use the device near the abdomen.
  • Keep the device away from children.
  • Users under 18 should only use it with adult supervision.
  • Follow the instructions in the manual for operation, charging and care.

If the device looks damaged, or behaves in a way the manual does not describe, stop using it and contact us at locoloup@gmail.com.

Is it safe for my eyes?

Never point the emitter at anyone's eyes, including your own, and do not look into it while a session is running. Keep the device aimed at the nail for the whole session, and switch it off before you move it.

If light does reach your eyes and you have any discomfort or change in vision afterwards, stop using the device and contact a healthcare professional.

Is there anyone who should not use it?

The manual is specific on three points: pregnant women should not use the device near the abdomen, the device must be kept away from children, and anyone under 18 should only use it with an adult supervising.

Beyond that, anyone who cannot read and follow the manual should not use the device on their own. If you are unsure whether the device is appropriate for you, ask a healthcare professional first.

I have a medical condition or take medication. Can I use it?

We cannot answer that for you. We are not medical professionals, we cannot give medical advice, and we will not tell you that this device is suitable for any condition, diagnosis, symptom or course of treatment.

If you have any medical condition, are under a doctor's care, take medication, or have any concern about light sensitivity, ask a healthcare professional before you use the device. Bring the specifications above with you - they are all the technical information we have.

Battery and care

There is nothing to refill and nothing to replace. Charging is the whole running cost.

What battery does it use, and how do I charge it?

The device runs on a built-in rechargeable 1200 mAh lithium battery. The battery is internal, so there is nothing to insert, swap or buy separately. Charge the device using the power adapter that comes in the box; a full charge takes 3 to 4 hours.

Do not open the device or attempt to replace the battery yourself. If you think the battery is faulty, email locoloup@gmail.com and we will handle it under the warranty process below.

How long does a full charge last?

A full charge covers 7 to 10 sessions. Actual runtime varies with the age of the battery, room temperature, and how many sessions you run back to back.

If the device runs out of power partway through a session, recharge it and start a fresh session rather than resuming the old one.

How do I clean and store it?

Switch the device off and disconnect it from the charger before cleaning, then follow the cleaning steps printed in the instruction manual. Do not use anything the manual does not list, and never immerse the device or run it under a tap unless the manual explicitly allows it.

Store it in its box, somewhere dry and at room temperature. Whatever spot you pick, it must be out of reach of children, as the manual requires.

How do I dispose of it at the end of its life?

The device contains a lithium battery and should not go in household trash. Take it to a local battery or e-waste recycling drop-off point instead.

Never puncture, crush, incinerate or disassemble the device to remove the battery, and do not store or ship a device whose battery is visibly damaged or swollen.

Can I fly with it?

The device has a built-in lithium battery, and airlines and the TSA have their own rules about lithium batteries. Devices like this are normally expected to travel in your carry-on rather than checked baggage.

Check the current rules with your airline and the TSA before you fly. We cannot pre-approve anything on their behalf, and the rules change.

Orders and shipping

We ship within the United States only.

Where do you ship?

We ship within the United States only, from a US location to US addresses. We do not ship internationally.

We can ship to PO boxes. We do not currently ship to APO, FPO or DPO addresses. The full address rules, including Alaska, Hawaii and US territories, are in our Shipping Policy.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders are typically processed in 1-2 business days. Delivery within the US typically takes 3–5 business days after your order ships.

Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding US federal holidays. Severe weather, carrier backlogs and peak shopping periods can add time beyond our control.

How much is shipping?

Shipping cost: standard shipping is free on orders of $70 or more and $8 below that, and express shipping is $15. Your exact shipping charge is shown at checkout before you pay, and nothing is added after you place the order.

Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

How do I track my order?

When your order ships we email you a shipping confirmation with a tracking number and a link to the carrier. Tracking may show no movement until the carrier records its first scan, so an empty tracking page right after shipment is normal.

If you have not received a shipping confirmation after the processing time above, check your spam folder first, then email locoloup@gmail.com with your order number and we will look it up.

Can I change or cancel my order after checkout?

Email locoloup@gmail.com as soon as possible with your order number and what needs to change. If the order has not yet been picked and packed, we can usually update the address or cancel it.

Once an order has been handed to the carrier, we can no longer change the address or stop the delivery. In that case, wait for the package to arrive and then use the return process below.

Tracking says delivered, but I do not have the package.

Check with everyone at the address and look wherever your carrier usually leaves parcels, then email locoloup@gmail.com with your order number. We will open a trace with the carrier and stay with it until it is resolved.

Lost, stolen and undelivered packages - including how long an investigation runs and by when you have to report the problem - are handled under our Shipping Policy. Tell us as soon as you notice a package is missing so the report lands inside that window.

Returns and warranty

30 days to change your mind, and a separate one-year warranty on the device itself.

What is your return policy?

You have 30 days from the delivery date to request a return. Email locoloup@gmail.com with your order number before you send anything back - we will confirm the return and send you the return address and packing instructions. Packages sent back without a confirmed return may be delayed or refused.

Returns must come back complete and in their original packaging. Units that have already been used are accepted inside the 30-day window as long as they come back complete, undamaged, and with all original packaging and accessories. We do not charge a restocking fee.

Once your return reaches us we inspect it within 3 business days and refund the original payment method within 5-10 business days. The full terms are in our Refund Policy, which governs if anything here reads differently.

How do I send my device back safely?

Contact us first for return authorization, the return address, and packing instructions. Keep your tracking number until your refund is complete. See our Refund Policy for the full return conditions.

The battery does matter. The device contains a lithium battery, which carriers treat as a regulated item, and some require ground transport, specific packaging or a battery label. Send the device back in its original packaging where possible, never ship a device with a visibly damaged or swollen battery, and follow the exact instructions we send with your return confirmation.

What does the 1-year warranty cover, and how do I claim it?

The device carries a one-year limited warranty, running from the date your order is delivered. It covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It does not cover drop or impact damage, liquid damage, unauthorised repair or modification, the normal decline in battery capacity over time, or cosmetic wear.

To make a claim, email locoloup@gmail.com with your order number, a description of the problem, and photos or a short video if the issue is visible. We send you a prepaid label to ship the device to us, and we pay to ship the repaired or replacement device back to you.

The warranty is separate from the 30-day return window - a warranty claim is still possible after the 30 days have passed. It also does not affect any rights you have under the consumer laws of your state. Full terms are in our Refund Policy.

Payment

Checkout runs on Shopify. We never see your card number.

What does it cost, and what payment methods do you take?

Pricing is by quantity, in US dollars: one device is $79, two are $89, and three are $99. Choose the quantity on the product page; the per-unit price drops as the quantity goes up. Any sales tax that applies is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.

Checkout runs on Shopify Payments. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay, and the methods available to you are displayed at checkout.

When is my card charged?

Your payment is authorised at checkout and captured when we process the order. The charge appears on your statement as NAILNOVA.

If a payment is declined, the order is not completed and no funds are captured; a pending authorisation is released by your bank on its own timeline. You can try again, use a different payment method, or check with your bank.

Is checkout secure?

Yes. Checkout is hosted and processed by Shopify over an encrypted connection, on Shopify's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure. Card details go to the payment processor, not to us - we never see or store full card numbers.

Only enter payment details on ayssyb-0c.myshopify.com. We will never email, text or call you asking for your full card number, your CVV or a password.
